Gamelan Workshops
Balinese Gamelan is a set of percussion instruments consisting of bronze metallophones, gongs and drums. The music is simple, enchanting and repetitive and in a workshop you will discover the voice and function of each instrument whilst learning a simple traditional piece. No musical ability is required to play, and workshops can be catered to different groups including schools.
Gamelan Performance
The Bristol Bali Gamelan ensemble ‘Adnya Suara’ can perform a repertoire of both traditional Balinese Gamelan pieces and modern compositions.
